Accounting Manager

Our client, a large and reputable organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This role will lead and streamline the close process, drive process improvements, and play a key part in broader finance transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, including systems projects and process enhancements.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and key balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS while providing technical accounting support
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.
• Coach and develop team members to foster collaboration and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a financial services environment
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX
• Experience with financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and forecasting
• ERP experience (SAP or similar) preferred
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and process improvement focused
