The Billing Analyst is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and issuing accurate invoices to customers, reconciling and working with internal teams to address discrepancies. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring- 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
- Experience with billing software and accounting systems (e.g., Peoplesoft, Microsoft).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Proactive in resolving billing issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- A team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
- Prepare, review, and process invoices while ensuring that billing aligns with contractual terms and agreements. Experience with Electronic Invoice submissions are a plus.
- Analyze billing data for discrepancies, errors, or anomalies.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve invoicing issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Verify and update billing information in the system as needed.
- Generate and analyze reports related to billing, accounts receivable, and revenue.
- Provide regular updates to management on billing performance and metrics.
- Work closely with the finance, sales, and customer service teams to address billing queries.
- Liaise with clients to resolve billing disputes and payment delays.
- Experience working with Salesforce and High Radius is a plus.
- Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes for greater efficiency.
- Assist in implementing new billing systems or tools.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in‑person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
