We are seeking a Finance Systems Manager to own, optimize, and scale our finance application stack—including ERP, Salesforce CRM, FP&A, revenue tools, and integrations—so our teams can close faster, forecast more accurately, and operate with strong financial controls.
In this role, you will partner closely with Accounting, FP&A, Rev Ops, GTM, and IT to design and improve core finance processes such as Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Record-to-Report (R2R). You will drive automation, ensure data quality and compliance, and deliver scalable, well-governed systems that support company growth.
You will also support the Controller through a comprehensive financial systems overhaul, including vendor selection, implementations, Salesforce-to-ERP integrations, customization, testing, and go-live—working alongside external implementation and integration partners to deliver results on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities Own the Finance Systems Stack- Act as system owner and administrator for ERP platforms (Net Suite preferred; Sage Intacct or Microsoft Dynamics 365 acceptable) and Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Partner Clouds).
- Manage adjacent tools including expense management, AP automation, billing/revenue, payroll, FP&A/planning, and procurement systems.
- Maintain roles, permissions, workflows, approvals, and audit trails.
- Design, document, and continuously improve O2C, P2P, and R2R processes with embedded controls and segregation of duties.
- Translate accounting policies (e.g., revenue recognition, capitalization, approvals) into scalable system rules and workflows.
- Lead system implementations, module rollouts, and upgrades across the full lifecycle: discovery, design, build, SIT/UAT, cutover, and hypercare.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, ERP, billing platforms, banks, and data warehouses.
- Partner with third-party implementation and integration providers on configurations, data migrations, and integrations.
- Collaborate with Rev Ops to ensure Salesforce data (customers, contracts, opportunities) flows accurately into finance systems.
- Establish and enforce master data governance (chart of accounts, customers, vendors, items).
- Deliver financial and operational reporting, including close packages, KPIs, and variance analysis, using ERP, FP&A, and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI).
- Partner with the Controller and FP&A teams to enable driver-based planning and forecasting.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities such as bank reconciliations, invoice matching, intercompany transactions, and amortization.
- Support audit readiness (SOX-lite), including access reviews, change management, documentation, and evidence collection.
- Ensure data security, backup, and disaster recovery practices are followed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define and execute a finance systems roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Train end users, maintain SOPs and playbooks, run office hours, and manage vendors and licenses within budget.
- 6+ years of experience in finance systems, accounting operations, or business systems within a high-growth company or consulting/system integrator environment.
- At least one end-to-end ERP implementation.
- Hands-on administration and configuration experience with Net Suite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Salesforce experience in a finance-integrated environment.
- Familiarity with FP&A, billing/revenue, AP/expense, and iPaaS tools.
- Experience supporting Salesforce-to-ERP integrations in partnership with Rev Ops and external teams.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong understanding of O2C, P2P, R2R, multi-entity and multi-currency environments, and ASC 606.
- Proven ability to manage projects, UAT, change management, documentation, and vendor relationships.
- Clear communicator with a strong bias toward automation, accuracy, and scalable solutions.
