Controller - Luxury Home Construction

A leading high-end custom home builder is seeking a detail-driven Controller to join their executive team. Known for crafting architecturally sophisticated homes with precision and excellence, we're looking for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

Must have experience handling complex invoice changes and year-end audits, with a strong understanding of construction accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee A/R, A/P, GL, job costing, and subcontractor billing
• Manage large invoice revisions and detailed budget tracking
• Lead end-of-year audit preparation and reporting
• Collaborate with project teams on financial planning
• Ensure accuracy in job cost reporting and financial compliance

Requirements:

• 5+ years of residential construction accounting experience (custom home preferred)
• Proficient with Foundation Software (or similar)
• Strong knowledge of budgets, billing, and cost controls
• Experience in year-end audit processes
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus)
