Department Overview

The McDonald's Corporate Controller Group's Accounting and Reporting group currently has an excellent opportunity for an Analyst to join our team. This position offers a tremendous opportunity for an individual to gain an understanding of McDonald's Corporation, global business, financial statements, consolidation accounting, internal and external reporting and more.  It will provide the candidate with the ability to further enhance their analytical, communication and project management skills.

Duties

+ Analysis, consolidation and reporting of monthly financial information for actual and projected results

+ Prepare monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations as well as relevant controls for SOX compliance

+ Support cash flow preparation and other 10-Q/10-K activities

+ Assist with various ad-hoc requests and special projects for global finance teams

+ Collaboration with various stakeholders across global markets, Tax, Treasury, internal and external auditors, etc.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance

+ 2+ years of experience in the accounting industry and/or in financial services, public experience preferred

+ Outstanding analytical abilities and communication skills

+ Strong problem-solving skills

+ Results-driven individual

+ Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams

+ Initiative and creativity in finding efficiencies

+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to quickly learn other software applications necessary to complete daily tasks

Salary Range

The expected salary range r ange -$69,679.00 - $87,099.00 per year
