What You'll Do- Financial Analysis & Modeling
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions, and strategic initiatives
- Perform in-depth analysis of financial results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Analyze profitability by product line, customer, facility, and business segment
- Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate business options
- Prepare ad hoc analyses to support leadership decision‑making
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead assigned components of the annual budgeting process, consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders
- Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts with supporting analysis and commentary
- Analyze budget‑to‑actual and forecast‑to‑actual variances, providing insights on drivers
- Maintain and improve forecasting models and templates
- Business Partnership
- Serve as a finance partner to sales VPs and directors, providing analytical support and insights
- Collaborate with Commercial team on pricing analysis and customer profitability
- Reporting & Presentations
- Prepare management reports and presentations for monthly business reviews
- Develop executive‑level summaries and visualizations that communicate key insights
- Create dashboards and reports that track KPIs and financial performance
- Support preparation of Board materials and executive presentations
- Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analysis
Develop and document standard processes, templates, and best practices - Partner with IT and Accounting to enhance reporting capabilities and data quality
- Automate recurring reports and analyses where possible
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting, and analysis
What You’ll Bring
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 3-5 years of finance experience, with at least 2 years in FP&A or financial analysis
- Demonstrated experience with complex financial modeling and analysis
- Technical Skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, financial modeling)
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Core Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail with ability to synthesize complex data
- Effective communication skills with ability to present to leadership
- Ability to build relationships and partner with cross‑functional teams
- Self‑motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to understand business drivers
- Results‑oriented with commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience with multi‑site operations and consolidated reporting preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance a plus
- CPA, CFA, or CMA certification a plus
