Head of Futures & Commodities Compliance

A well-established global trading and clearing organization is building out senior compliance leadership within its U.S. derivatives business. This role will oversee regulatory compliance across exchange-traded and cleared derivatives activities and serve as a strategic advisor to senior business stakeholders.

The position offers meaningful influence over regulatory engagement, supervisory framework design, and business-aligned compliance strategy within a growing derivatives platform.

• Leading regulatory compliance oversight for U.S. futures and cleared derivatives activities
• Acting as a senior point of contact for U.S. derivatives regulators and self-regulatory organizations
• Advising trading, clearing, and commercial leadership on regulatory obligations and emerging risks
• Overseeing supervisory frameworks supporting customer protection, margin practices, and market conduct
• Providing compliance guidance related to third-party distribution and intermediary relationships
• Enhancing internal governance, policies, and escalation processes
• Supporting regulatory examinations and ongoing supervisory dialogue
• Leading and developing a small team of compliance professionals
• Partnering cross-functionally with risk, operations, legal, and finance

• Extensive compliance or regulatory experience within U.S. derivatives markets
• Deep familiarity with CFTC-regulated environments and SRO frameworks
• Prior exposure to clearing or margin-based trading businesses
• Experience engaging directly with regulators and managing examinations
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and sound regulatory judgment
