My client is a boutique proprietary trading firm based in Chicago. They are actively seeking a Senior Quantitative Trader to build out a new independent team. The ideal hire should have experience in either HFT cash equities or futures strategies.

This is an opportunity for a high-performing quant with a proven HFT background to deploy scalable, high-ROC strategies on best-in-class infrastructure. The firm provide meaningful autonomy and an industry-leading PnL split.

They can consider independent hires looking to build out a new team, or an existing team looking to join a platform with stronger infrastructure and capital backing.

The opportunity:
  • Build and lead a new independent trading pod
  • Deploy and scale high-frequency, latency-sensitive strategies

Required experience:
  • Senior-level experience within a leading proprietary or HFT trading firm
  • Demonstrable track record of high Return on Capital (ROC) strategies
  • Proven Sharpe ratio of 5+ across meaningful capital allocation
  • Deep understanding of risk management in high-velocity trading environments
  • Experience managing intraday and tail risk in automated strategies
  • Strong understanding of microstructure and latency optimization
