An established and growing insurance group managing circa $500m of claims is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join its London-based finance team.
This is a broad, hands‑on role with responsibility across financial and regulatory reporting in a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction environment.
Key responsibilities include:- Preparing quarterly management accounts
- Supporting statutory accounts (IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP)
- Regulatory reporting and returns
- Bank and investment reconciliations
- Liaising with auditors and actuaries
- Supporting budgeting and cash flow forecasting
Required:
- Previous reporting expedience at an insurance company
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proactive, organised and detail‑oriented
