Role Summary

The Wealth Advisor is a growth-focused role responsible for building a wealth management presence across assigned branches in our client's Chicago market. This position is ideal for an advisor who thrives in greenfield environments and is motivated by developing client relationships and building a book of business from the ground up rather than inheriting an existing portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for wealth clients across assigned branches
  • Embed within branch locations to build strong relationships with branch and commercial banking partners
  • Develop a client pipeline through referrals, branch collaboration, and commercial partnerships
  • Gather and analyze client financial data to understand goals, objectives, and risk tolerance
  • Design and implement appropriate investment and financial planning strategies
  • Deliver annual investment reviews and ongoing portfolio updates to clients
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory, compliance, and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or financial planning
  • Proven ability to build a book of business without an existing client base
  • Strong relationship-building and client-facing skills
  • Knowledge of investment solutions, asset allocation, and risk management
  • Experience using financial planning software
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience partnering with commercial banking teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
  • Professional designations such as CFP, CRCP, AWMA, or ChFC preferred
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development (firm-sponsored)
