We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President, Investor Relations with experience in capital raising and investor relations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance or investment banking, with a proven track record in raising capital and managing investor relationships, particularly within the private credit, real estate, or private equity space. The role will be based out of Chicago, New York, or Miami.

Fully remote candidates will be considered. Semi‑regular travel will be required to meet with investors and attend industry conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support external Investor Relations Managing Directors to raise capital for Chicago Atlantic's fund offerings
  • Identify and engage potential institutional, family office, RIA, and high‑net‑worth investors via email outreach campaigns, calls, and networking
  • Assist Managing Directors by responding to inquiries and maintaining relationships with current and prospective investors
  • Prepare responses to a‑hoc requests, due diligence questionnaires, and RFPs for prospective investors
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment and support for capital‑raising initiatives
  • Help external Investor Relations partners hit annual targets for raising capital and expanding the investor base
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) would be preferred. Series 7 and 63 or willingness to obtain.
  • Significant experience in finance, investment banking, or private equity, with a strong preference for those who have worked in the private credit or real estate.
  • Strong networking and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills to assess and present financial data effectively.
  • Familiarity with fundraising platforms and CRM software (Salesforce, FINTRX, Dakota).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and financial modeling tools.
