Role OverviewThe Credit Officer II is a highly skilled resource, providing expert advisory guidance in the most complex, integrated debt capital solutions for commercial banking clients. The role covers lines of credit, term loans, real‑estate loans, and syndicated loans, managing ancillary credit exposure and leveraging knowledge of BofA products such as Investment Banking and Treasury Management to deliver the best integrated strategic solutions.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Client Management teams to analyze credit opportunities and prospects.
- Manage client and prospect originations, including initial credit structuring, underwriting, legal documentation review, and deal closing.
- Deliver on data accuracy and quality of underwriting metrics in compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor assigned portfolios of client loan maturities and collaborate with Analysts to recognize and address risks in a timely manner.
- Escalate and debate deteriorating assets in partnership with the Special Assets Group and Risk as appropriate.
- Participate in Regional and Market meetings to communicate credit delivery best practices and results.

- 10+ years of solid Commercial Banking experience.
- Experience in financial analysis, structuring, underwriting, and portfolio management.
- Analytical/technical skills, including financial accounting, modeling, and loan structuring.
- Strong communication skills; ability to communicate vertically, horizontally, and externally.
- Industry knowledge across multiple sectors.
BA/BS Degree desired.
Shift & Hours1st shift (United States of America) – 40 hours per week.
