A mission-driven nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to join its growing finance team. This role plays a critical part in annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, capital processes, and financial performance reporting across a complex, multi-entity healthcare environment. Ideal candidates bring strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and experience supporting operational leaders in fast-paced settings.

Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Prepare and maintain monthly variance reports, investigate variances, and develop action plans.
- Manage capital budgeting, including processing approved projects, tracking spending, and preparing capital committee materials.
- Oversee position control and review employee requisitions.
- Maintain and enhance Axiom reporting, including creating new reports and optimizing existing ones.
- Prepare departmental productivity reporting and operational financial dashboards.
- Collaborate with leadership on financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of all financial deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years in healthcare finance.
- Strong experience with operating budgets, capital budgets, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
- Prior experience with position control and hospital productivity.
- Advanced Excel skills required;
Axiom or similar budgeting software strongly preferred. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
