The Supernova Operations team is a high-performing organization that delivers world-class loan origination and servicing experiences for advisors, clients, and enterprise partners. As a non-bank lender operating under state lending licenses, we combine people, process, and technology to deliver exceptional outcomes across the full securities-based lending lifecycle.

From our operations headquarters in Chicago, the Loan Operations team guides advisors and clients through every stage of a securities-based loan, from pre-evaluation and underwriting through closing, servicing, and ongoing collateral monitoring. This team plays a critical role in supporting Supernova’s growth by delivering excellent client experiences, maintaining strong operational discipline, and building scalable capabilities.

The Senior Loan Operations Manager will lead Supernova’s securities-based loan operations function, with responsibility for core lending operations, operational risk and control oversight, process improvement and automation, and partner coordination. This leader will build and scale a high-performing organization that delivers excellent client outcomes, strong service levels, and disciplined execution across underwriting, servicing, and collateral monitoring.

This position requires 7+ years of experience in wealth management and lending, including loan origination and servicing, including significant leadership responsibility. Wealth management experience is a strong plus. The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise, a strong control mindset, and a track record of building scalable processes, improving execution through data and technology, and leading cross-functional and external partnerships effectively.

Lead loan operations team responsible for the end-to-end execution of Supernova’s securities-based loan operations, including underwriting, loan servicing, collateral monitoring, and daily transaction processing. Ensure daily operational work is completed accurately, on time, and in line with processes and service level agreements. Lead teams supporting advisors, clients, and enterprise customers throughout the life of the loan, delivering a high-quality and responsive service experience.

Establish and maintain a strong control environment across loan operations to reduce operational risk, fraud risk, and errors. Ensure underwriting, servicing, and monitoring activities are executed in accordance with company policy, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Oversee exception management, non-standard cases, escalations, and error resolution with sound judgment and appropriate documentation. Use data, quality reviews, and trend analysis to identify operational risks, recurring issues, and control gaps, and implement corrective actions.
