Corporate Tax Manager

Join a dynamic, growth-focused tax team as a Corporate Tax Manager in a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL (minimum two days in the downtown office). You will lead business income tax projects, corporate compliance efforts, and income tax accounting under ASC 740, with opportunities for professional growth through collaboration and leadership. • Lead and manage tax engagements from planning through completion
• Supervise and mentor junior staff and provide performance feedback
• Oversee preparation and review of complex corporate tax returns
• Provide primary review of ASC 740 income tax provision engagements
• Research complex tax matters and provide consultative guidance
• Maintain client relationships and provide exceptional service
• Respond to federal and state tax authority inquiries
• Ensure strict confidentiality and adherence to professional standards

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA license (must be active in Illinois or eligible via reciprocity) or JD with active law license
• 4-7 years of recent corporate tax and tax provision experience
• Hands‑on experience with ASC 740 (within the last 1‑3 years)
• Background in public accounting, ideally from a top 15 firm
• Proven track record working with large, multi‑state or global corporations
• Familiarity with US GAAP and corporate tax regulations
• Strong analytical and technical skills

• Experience with One Source Tax Provision
• Knowledge of state/local income tax, international tax, and transfer pricing
