Financial Manager
Financial Analysis & Strategy Manager – Financial Advisor to the Firm’s practice group leaders and senior managing partners. Responsible for in-depth analysis of financial results and opportunities to strengthen the firm’s financial position.
Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages focusing on key performance metric results and projected trends.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial reporting and analyses for the Director of Finance, CFO, COO and senior management.
- Manage and develop financial models involving the Firm’s annual budget and revenue forecasting.
- Monitor activities of the legal cohort(s) supported and provide financial support on an as‑needed basis to practice group/office managing partners.
- Collaborate with other support staff cross‑functionally throughout the firm to ensure firm management is aware of any financial issues requiring attention, such as staffing, productivity and expense management.
- Facilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis of profitability metrics to firm management.
- Develop and track targeted goals related to profit improvement for both practice groups and clients.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Firm’s profitability software and other financial reporting tools.
- Assist in the analysis of strategic investment opportunities including lateral hires (individual or groups), new office openings, office closures, attorney departures, mergers or acquisitions.
- Participate in various surveys of law firm performance and help benchmark Firm performance versus its peers.
- Manage multiple projects and overall project workflow.
- Manage and mentor the team’s analysts; set goals, review performance, and modeling/capability.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least seven (7) years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).

- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
Target hiring range: $138,000 – $194,000. Competitive total rewards package with opportunity to earn performance‑based bonuses. Full‑time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
