Position Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, manufacturing-savvy Accountant to join ouroperationsteam. Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance & Operations, you will be the primary owner of our day-to-day financial accuracy and cost-accounting integrity. This is a "full-stack" accounting role where you will manage everything from monthly reconciliations and inventory counts toassistingwith investor-ready financial reporting.

- Provide data-driven
Managerial Accounting support todrive actionable insights for company decision-making. - Assistin the annual
Budgeting process by gathering historical data andidentifyingtrends. - Act as the "point person" for data requests during
External Audits and Tax Reviews. - Maintain
AP/AR workflows and ensure all vendor and customer records are accurate. - Execute Month-End and Year-End closing procedures, ensuring all Balance Sheet tie-outsare completed on schedule.
- Prepare preliminary
Financial Statement sand supporting schedules for the Senior Director's review. - Assistin the preparation of specialized reports for Grants and Investor updates.
- Support theoperationsteam by managing
Cost Centers and tracking departmental spend. - Calculate and monitor
Inventory Direct Costing and Overhead allocations to ensure product margins are accurately reflected. - Coordinate and lead
Semi-Annual Inventory Counts, reconciling physical data to the GL. - Conduct Variance Reviews(Budget vs. Actual) and provide clear explanations for discrepancies.
- At least5–7years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in aManufacturing or Cost-heavy environment preferred.
- Strongproficiencyin
GAAP,competency with financial statement reporting; advanced
Excel skills area must,including experiencebuildingandmaintaining
Excelmodelsand internal stakeholder reporting dashboards. - Experience with ERP software is highly preferred.
- High attention to detail and the ability to explain the "why" behind the numbers. You enjoy the process of "tying things out" until they areaccurateand defensible.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
