Overview
CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Business Development Financial Advisor who will assist in bringing in new clients through our custodial distribution channels. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:
- Develop Client Relationships: Work directly within custodial distribution channels in their branches to develop relationships and business flows.
- Build Networks: Develop relationships with custodial distribution relationship financial consultants in their branches through seminars and other activities.
- Travel: Travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), holding or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire date either a Series 65 OR a Series 66 and Series 7
- At least 2 years registered as an IAR, plus 3 years immediately prior registered with a broker‑dealer; OR holds a CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or qualifies as a securities portfolio manager
- Meet and maintain compliance with all ongoing participation requirements applicable to strategic referral partnerships
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking, with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills

Long term and unlimited based on production! To start, salary range $125,000 to $175,000 (plus bonus) depending on experience and geography.
