Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Manager for our Development & Community Advisory team within the Housing practice. The role involves being a valued business advisor, delivering industry‑focused financial consulting services to developers and other stakeholders of multi‑family housing, and partnering with leadership to serve clients and build the business.
What You Will Do- Manage relationships with clients, staff, and various entities involved in transactions.
- Structure transactions and perform financial modeling.
- Assist in securing financing and equity sources, and negotiate terms.
- Write, edit, and organize work products, including client reports and funding applications.
- Support acquisition, preservation, disposition, and recapitalization strategies for real‑estate portfolios.
- Prepare application materials and structure low‑income housing tax credits.
- Manage and develop staff.
- Develop presentations, proposals, and responses to RFPs.
- Research industry and technical issues, compile data, and present findings.
- Provide general consulting to help clients achieve their objectives.
- Minimum five (5) years of low‑income housing tax credit experience, including underwriting, modeling, or consulting.
- Experience with tax credit application in at least one of the following states – Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee (experience in two states preferred).
- Understanding of real‑estate financials and operating performance.
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills.
- Highly developed Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) required.
- Commitment to exceptional client service and continuous learning to stay current on applicable strategies.
The U.S. national pay rate range for this position is $59,400–$236,800, influenced by qualifications, experience, and location. Eligible employees receive a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
