Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Consumer Loan Processor located in the Greater Chicago Area. The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing and evaluating loan applications, ensuring compliance with lending guidelines and regulations, and securing required documentation for loan approval. Daily tasks include verifying applicant information, preparing loan documents, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with team members to ensure seamless loan processes.
Providing excellent customer service to members throughout the loan lifecycle is a key aspect of this role.
- Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures, documentation requirements, and compliance standards
- Experience in data verification, attention to detail, and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure positive member interactions
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in relevant financial and loan processing software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
- Previous experience in banking, financial services, or related fields is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in finance or business administration are a plus
