Our purpose is to help build a financial services industry that is trusted, resilient, and transformative.

Manager Consultant – Asset & Wealth Management (with Private Markets Exposure) Opportunity

As part of our Asset & Wealth Management practice, you’ll help clients better align their operating models, data, and technology with their business strategies across the full investment value chain. You will serve both traditional and alternative asset managers, wealth platforms, and service providers, supporting initiatives that enable efficiency, scale, and transparency, including expanding into Private Markets and semi‑liquid alternative products.

  • Participate in technology‑enabled transformations, including system selection and implementation (e.g., Aladdin, Charles River, Geneva, Investran, eFront, or equivalent).
  • Work with clients on emerging areas such as outsourcing strategy, automation, and digital operating models.
  • Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and knowledge sharing within the team, particularly around market convergence between traditional and alternative investments.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across service lines to bring integrated EY solutions spanning operations, data, risk, finance, and technology.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Solid understanding of the asset and wealth management industry, including investment operations, product structures, and client segments.
  • Interest or experience in Private Markets and Alternatives (e.g., Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate, Infrastructure, or secondaries).
  • Ability to translate complex business and operational requirements into practical, technology‑enabled solutions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into actionable insights for clients.
  • Proven ability to thrive in collaborative, fast‑paced consulting environments.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

    • Financial services consulting with exposure to investment operations or technology transformation.
  • Familiarity with investment systems such as Aladdin, Charles River, Eagle, eFront, Investran, Geneva, etc.
  • Strong experience with process improvement, system implementation, project management, or middle‑office outsourcing.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and client service skills.

  • Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 or other global professional services firm.
  • Exposure to Private Markets operations, fund structures, or investor reporting.
  • Understanding of how digital platforms, automation, and data solutions are transforming the investment management ecosystem.
