SSO Floor Trader

We'reseeking an experienced Options Market Maker to lead our presence across U.S. options exchange trading floors.

You'llbe the primary link between our electronic trading desks, floor brokers, DPM/LMM communities, and exchange personnel — driving liquidity provision, execution quality, and market structure opportunities across venues.

• Make markets in eligible equity, ETF, and index options.
• Represent the firm across options exchanges; build relationships with floor brokers, DPMs/LMMs, and exchange officials.
• Track exchange rule changes, fees, and incentive programs.
• Partner with electronic traders tooptimizequoting and execution quality.
• Facilitate large or complex executions;monitor floor specific KPIs, fill rates and market share across venues.
• Ensure compliance with exchange rules and regulatory requirements.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree (required)
• Deep understanding of financial instruments, tradingexchangesand markets
• Possess a high aptitude with mathematics
• Excellent communicator and team player
• Strong relationship-builder across traders, brokers, and exchange personnel.
• 3+ years in options trading, market making, floor brokerage, or exchange operations.

• Prior listed options market‑making experience.
• Series 57 active and in good standing.
• Existing relationships within thefloorbroker and market maker communities.

Below is the expected base salary for this position. This is a good‑faith estimate of the base pay scale for this position and offers will ultimately be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and performance in the interview process. This position will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (if determined by Optiver) and Optiver’s benefits package with the benefits listed above.
