Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly motivated, hands‑on Controller to join a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across all aspects of accounting and finance, from day‑to‑day execution to financial reporting and analysis. There are no direct reports at this time, making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in an environment where they can take full ownership and build scalable processes.

• Own the full-cycle accounting function, including month‑end and year‑end close
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgeting processes
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Oversee cash flow management and ensure proper financial controls are in place
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of the general ledger
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting to support decision‑making
• Assist with audit preparation, tax coordination, and compliance requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement more efficient systems as the company grows
• Handle ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
• Prior experience in a hands‑on Controller or senior accounting role, preferably within a growing or startup environment
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience building and maintaining financial models and forecasts
• Comfortable managing AP/AR, invoicing, and transactional accounting
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive, self‑starter mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel (experience with ERP systems is a plus)
