Senior Accounting Manager

We’re partnering with a large, publicly traded global organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager to join their corporate finance team.

This is a unique hybrid role blending core accounting, FP&A exposure, and financial systems ownership — ideal for someone who enjoys both technical accounting and driving process/system improvements.

This role sits at the center of corporate finance, overseeing close, reporting, and planning activities while also serving as a key resource for financial systems and process optimization
.

You’ll work cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, and IT, helping to improve reporting accuracy, streamline workflows, and enhance decision-making capabilities.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for corporate cost centers
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies (GAAP)
• Own budgeting and forecasting processes for corporate functions
• Build financial models and scenario analysis to support leadership decisions
• Partner closely with FP&A and operational teams
• Act as a systems lead for financial platforms (ERP + consolidation/reporting tools)
• Drive system enhancements, integrations, and process improvements
• Support strategic initiatives and special projects
• Mentor and support junior team members

• 6–10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or advanced degree preferred
• Strong foundation in corporate accounting and U.S. GAAP
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems (JDE, One Stream, or similar)
• Background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to operate cross-functionally
• Systems-oriented thinker who enjoys improving processes
