Senior Tax Associate Attorney$200,000 – $250,000 per year | Chicago, IL | On-Site | Permanent
Private client/ family office tax experience needed! A bit about us:We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Tax Attorney to join our expanding legal team. This position will play a crucial role in providing expert advice on tax‑related matters. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in tax law, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. This role requires a dynamic individual who is capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience
- Private client focused (generally closely held businesses and their owners, with a heavy focus on partnerships)
- Mergers and acquisitions tax focused experiences in the closely held context (e.g., corporate and partnership reorganizations pre‑sale planning, structuring capital investments as well as compensation arrangements, etc.)
- Tax advantaged investing experience (e.g., qualified opportunity zones, qualified small business stock, tax credit incentives, partnership profit interests, etc.)
- Ability to financially model tax implications of various scenarios
