A highly regarded and growing financial services firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance and accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership on critical financial reporting initiatives, process improvements, and audit-related activities while contributing to the continued growth and sophistication of the accounting function.

Responsibilities- Prepare and support quarterly and annual financial reporting packages in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules.
- Partner with accounting and finance leadership to improve reporting processes, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit requests, testing, and year-end deliverables.
- Help maintain consistency and accuracy across reporting processes and financial statement presentations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
- CPA certification or progress toward obtaining a CPA is strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting, financial reporting, audit, or fund accounting experience.
- Experience with in investment management, asset management, financial services, or public accounting environments is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience supporting external audits and working with auditors.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with financial systems and reporting tools.
- Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office
