Tax Manager, Compliance US International
The Tax Manager will support US tax compliance and planning initiatives. Manage processes and projects around income tax compliance and forecasts. Perform and support tax activities through analysis and review of working papers, information returns, and research studies.
Responsibilities- Participate and work with co‑sourcing preparers on the accurate filing and review of forms 5471, 8858, and 8865, applying knowledge to determine the U.S. international tax implications of Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credit calculation and limitation, repatriation, and earnings and profits calculations.
- Ensure direct tax compliance requirements are timely and accurately met, and that tax policies are followed including compliance with internal standards on completion dates, record retention and workpaper support, and provide local tax expertise to the Tax Accounting team/external support.
- Monitor local tax legislative events, tax audits, tax‑planning, and business initiative developments.
- Assist in managing co‑sourcing engagement and continually improve standard direct tax compliance processes and ways of working.
- Assist in calculations necessary to complete the U.S. federal tax forecasts, tax provisions and legislative modeling; prepare supporting data and work papers as documentation of filing positions and assist in responding to queries from auditors or other external parties.
- Hybrid role (2‑3 days a week/50% per month).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
- Advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation preferred.
- 4 or more years of international tax experience including compliance preparation.
- Experience in U.S. international tax, including Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, repatriation, and section 163(j) rules.
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or publicly traded multinational corporation strongly preferred.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and online tax research tools (CCH, BNA, and/or RIA).
- Strong business partnering and communication skills across a global, public company.
- Integrity and sound judgment in all decisions and interactions aligned with company values, policies, and external regulations.
The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for over achievement based on performance and company results.
