Billing Specialists work hand‑in‑hand with the Portfolio Management team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and the processing of incoming payments and paperwork. The ideal candidate will undertake a variety of financial and non‑financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company’s revenues. Must have strong attention to detail and experience working in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Issue and post invoices and bills
  • Assume responsibility of receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to detail
  • Update accounts receivable database with payments received and missed payments
  • Ensure all clients remain informed of outstanding invoices and due dates
  • Provide solutions to relative problems of clients
  • Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or BA with minimum 3.5 GPA required
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in a billing specialist position
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and trustworthiness
  • Results driven and patient

  • Experience in deregulated power and gas industry preferred, but not required
