Salary Range: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
About the RoleWe are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team and play a key role in driving presentation and analysis of financial and operational data to create performance visibility and support decision making. Additionally, this position would support the development of financial models and company budgeting and forecasting. This position is ideal for an analytical thinker who thrives in a environment and enjoys transforming data into actionable insights.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing, automating, and interpreting operational and financial reporting to support business leaders across the organization.
- Develop and maintain operational and financial reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Support the forecasting and budgeting processes by partnering with business units to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform variance analysis versus budget and prior year results, clearly identifying key business drivers and trends.
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and data analysis to support strategic and operational business decisions.
- Automate and enhance reporting using Power BI or other data visualization tools to improve efficiency and insight.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and provide analytical support for initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- ~2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, reporting, or business analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and building dashboards and reports using Power BI (or similar visualization tools).
- Hands‑on experience with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) tools and methodologies. Adaptive Planning experience is a plus.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience managing large datasets and transforming data into insights.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights.
This position is located at our Chicago (Bedford Park) office. The ideal candidate is self‑driven, comfortable in a fast‑paced environment, and motivated to contribute to continuous process improvement.
