Role Summary
Vice President of Investor Relations & Fundraising – 50 South Capital, primary focus on wealth channel. Act as key contact for financial advisors and high net worth clients, supporting investor relations, product positioning, and client communication. Work with senior team members on relationship development, advisor engagement, day‑to‑day execution, and firm‑wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Advisor Coverage & Relationship Management: primary contact for financial advisors and wealth partners; maintain relationships through in‑person engagement and travel; support client conversations, portfolio reviews, and education sessions.
- Business Development & Fundraising Execution: partner with senior team members to drive capital raising; maintain a pipeline and support broader fundraising initiatives.
- Firmwide Investor Relations: respond to investor and internal partner requests; support client servicing; coordinate with internal teams on initiatives.
- Client Communication & Content Development: assist with investor presentations, commentary, and client materials; translate complex strategies into advisor‑friendly messaging; support ongoing communication around fund performance and market developments.
- Product & Platform Engagement: support new product development and fund launches; understand private equity, private credit, and hedge‑fund offerings; provide field feedback for product strategy.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
ensure client experience across platform; work with investment, product, operations, and sales teams.
- 6–10+ years in investor relations, alternatives sales, or private markets fundraising.
- Strong understanding of the alternatives market, especially private equity, credit, and secondaries.
- Experience covering wealth/intermediary channels.
- Willingness to travel and build in‑person relationships.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Hands‑on approach to supporting all Investor Relations content and support.
Salary Range: $164,600 – $288,000 USD (base pay estimate).
