Job Description Summary
Strategic Finance partner for the STO AI/Machine Learning (AIML) and Digital Health Services (DHS) teams. This role reports to the Digital & AI Finance Leader and provides full cost ownership for AIML and DHS accountabilities ($110M annual spend).
- Operational Finance – oversee period close, reporting, internal controls, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Maintain accurate books and records, including financial, management, and program/project accounting.
- Develop and track long‑term plans, budgets, forecasts, and actuals.
- Ensure SOX compliance of assigned cycles and support external financial audits.
- Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decision making, including evaluation of risks and opportunities.
- Drive controllership across operating teams and partner with business leaders to prioritize investments and align with strategy.
- Leverage technology to streamline and automate processes, including developing and administering Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of financial work experience.
- Proven communication skills with experience presenting to executive level audiences.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, Power Query).
- Experience with financial systems/applications such as Oracle, Hyperion, or Business Objects.
- Ability to lead and clearly communicate in a global, matrixed environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills with a track record of leading process improvements.
- Integrity, adaptability, confidence, and advanced PC skills.
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and 4 years related experience.
- Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) or other financial leadership programs.
- Experience working in GEHC Finance (Region, Segment, or Group FP&A team).
- Training or certification in Lean or Six Sigma.
- Clear ability to link financial results to operational performance drivers and generate alternatives that drive positive change.
U.S. only: $ – $ annual. Positions may also be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
