Overview
The Private Bank Service Specialist II is responsible for day‑to‑day activities and client interaction in support of Private Banking, Trust, and Investment Management. The role partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high‑net‑worth clients. The Specialist maintains detailed product knowledge, ensures Service Excellence, and manages risk while adhering to policies and procedures.
Responsibilities- Maintain day‑to‑day client relationships, including the establishment, documentation, maintenance and servicing of accounts (personal and business deposits, wealth & investment management accounts, consumer lending and mortgages).
- Work directly with clients and Wealth Advisors to gather necessary applicant and financial information for new accounts, loans and servicing requests.
- Provide detailed account information to customers and build rapport.
- Identify, research, analyze and resolve complex account problems.
- Conduct proactive monthly outreach to clients and participate in Calling Days.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment financial services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Notary Public (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service orientation.
- Highly motivated, focused and goal oriented.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow‑up.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines and independently.
- Administrative experience in the financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Huntington applications.
Office. Certain positions outside the branch network may qualify for a flexible work arrangement (in‑office and work‑from‑home). Remote roles may also gather in office for occasional meetings.
Compensation & BenefitsBase salary range: $40,000–$60,000 (exact amount based on location, experience and education). Eligible for applicable incentive compensation plan. Benefits include health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
