Margin&Collateral Associate

Job Description

J.P. Morgan's Global Client Money Team is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the North America Client Money team responsible for Futures & Options and OTC Clearing business. As a Margin & Collateral Associate you will support daily CFTC regulatory filings, provide guidance to teams on client funds compliance, review processes to identify and remediate gaps, and assist in regulatory compliance and risk assessment.

• Assist the Americas Commodity Futures Trading Commission Client Money Officer in revising, updating, and maintaining U.S. Client Money Policies and Procedures.
• Prepare daily client money calculations in accordance with CFTC and self‑regulatory organization rules.
• Review business processes and new initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform compliance reviews and risk assessments, identify potential vulnerabilities, develop corrective measures, and provide guidance to mitigate future risks.

• College degree (BA/BS) required.
• 5+ years of relevant futures/derivatives experience with a futures commission merchant, regulator, investment bank, broker, or market participant.
• Understanding of CFTC, NFA, exchanges, clearinghouses, and Dodd‑Frank regulations.
• Knowledge of basic accounting/finance principles.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and partnership skills.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and energetic communicator at all levels.
• Ability to operate within a complex organizational structure.
• Excellent business judgment, problem‑solving, and self‑starter capabilities.
• Team player who can work independently.
