Job Summary
The Wealth Sales Support & Service Specialist will provide administrative support to one or more Financial Consultants (FC) and reports directly to the Sales Support & Service Leader of the Investment & Insurance Division. Responsibilities include setting appointments for account reviews, interacting with clients on service inquiries, processing client account transactions, and preparing financial reports to track team progress toward goals.
The role requires independent thinking, professional communication, organizational skills, and the ability to coach/mentor licensed and non‑licensed bankers.
- Identify, research, analyze, and resolve customer account issues.
- Support the Financial Consultant(s) in executing the “Work the Book” strategy, preparing for client appointments, and scheduling appointments from the book and retail opportunities.
- Conduct various administrative tasks such as preparing internal financial reports, emailing retail branch teams, sending correspondence, and training/supporting bankers (licensed and non‑licensed) on investment systems and referrals.
- Manage FC(s) calendars, schedule client appointments, meetings with bankers, and reserve conference rooms.
- Create and distribute newsletters, presentations, and other support materials to educate retail branch banking team members and sales teams on product offerings, sales initiatives, and execution strategies.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems, and related technology.
- Education level:
High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent. - Minimum experience:
1+ year as an administrative assistant or comparable investment & insurance industry position.
- Life, Health and Accident license. If not held at hire, obtain within 6 months.
- Variable Annuity license. If not held at hire, obtain within 12 months.
- Series 7 license. If not held at hire, obtain within 12 months.
- Series 63 or Series 66 license. If not held at hire, obtain Series 63 within 90 days after passing Series 7.
- All licenses are preferred but required for maximum incentive opportunity.
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to resolve problems and prevent customer dissatisfaction.
- Positive attitude, exceptional operational skills, and service orientation toward branch employees and bank customers.
- Teamwork, adherence to company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone proficiency.
- Effective communication with clients to set appointments and provide detailed account information.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent listening and communication skills across various organizational levels.
- Confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Relationship building with stakeholders to align with enterprise goals and accelerate performance.
- Fostering positive work culture and productive environment.
