Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Our client, a fast‑growing real estate company, is seeking a Director of FP&A to lead financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across a dynamic portfolio. This is a high‑visibility role for a sharp, driven finance leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and can operate independently with minimal oversight.

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple business units
• Drive cash flow modeling, scenario planning, and financial insights for leadership
• Support acquisitions, investments, and debt financing through analysis, modeling, and due diligence
• Prepare investor reporting, lender reporting, and investment memos
• Partner with operations, development, and executive leadership to support strategic decision‑making
• Build and enhance financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools
• Leverage Excel, Power BI, and emerging AI tools to streamline processes and elevate insights
• Utilize Yardi for financial data, reporting, and analysis

• 7+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience
• Real estate industry experience required; homebuilding or multifamily experience is a strong plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics
• Advanced credentials such as CPA, MBA, or CFA are a plus
• Strong analytical and modeling skills with deep Excel proficiency
• Experience with acquisitions, investments, or debt financing
• Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results
