We are currently seeking a Sr. FP&A Analyst for our Shared Service Organization to deliver business insight and drive improvement of all FP&A functions for PEAK6 and its subsidiary entities. This individual will report directly to PEAK6’s FP&A Manager. Ideal candidates will demonstrate the ability to assess, analyze and present financial data to help drive business decisions and to improve cross-business reporting and budgeting processes.

They will possess superior analytical, modeling and communication skills.

• Collaborate with business leaders and senior management to prepare monthly/quarterly reporting packages that drive business decisions
• Monitor and analyze monthly financial results. Identify relevant trends and key drivers of budget variances. Advise senior leadership of opportunities and risk impacting the organization.
• Provide value-added analytical management reporting, including ad hoc requests, to help provide the organization with a deeper understanding of cost changes and help identify additional efficiency opportunities.
• Develop annual budget(s) and financial forecasts which will drive appropriate and timely decision making; create and maintain detailed budgeting templates
• Continuously improve and automate financial management processes and analytical tools needed to deliver reporting and budgeting
• Drive cross-business standardization for all FP&A processes
• Build and enhance financial models to evaluate new business and revenue opportunities, and expense reduction initiatives
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal cost allocation methodologies
• Develop credibility and build partnerships with key contacts across the organization to facilitate efficiency, knowledge sharing, and opportunities for process improvement
• Manipulate large data sets to summarize for management reporting, determine results, or reveal trends

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related degree
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Accounting and Finance/FP&A
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Net Suite experience is a plus
• Adaptive Insights experience is a plus
• Strong grasp of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow financial statements along with the ability to analyze financial results and assess financial impacts of business decisions.
• Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner
