Manager of Financial Reporting & Sustainability

SNI Financial is partnered with a publicly traded & global company that’s looking to hire a Manager of Sustainability & Financial Reporting to join their team in Chicago. This role will be part of the Global Controllership department and support sustainability & financial reporting initiatives. The role will handle compliance with evolving ESG regulations while partnering cross functionally to enhance reporting processes, controls, and governance.

• Lead sustainability reporting efforts, including CSRD, EU Taxonomy, ESG disclosures, and GHG emissions reporting.
• Monitor emerging sustainability regulations and assess reporting impacts.
• Partner with Finance, Sustainability, Legal, HR, and Operations to strengthen reporting processes and controls.
• Support external reporting activities, including SEC filings, statutory reporting, technical accounting, and special projects.
• Coordinate assurance engagements and support sustainability system implementations.
• Develop and mentor team members while driving process improvements and leveraging AI tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Sustainability; CPA preferred.
• 6+ years of public accounting, financial reporting, and/or sustainability reporting experience.
• Knowledge of ESG frameworks such as CSRD, ISSB, GRI, and sustainability assurance requirements preferred.
• Strong project management, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Experience with global organizations and complex reporting environments preferred.
