Job Description & How to Apply Below

A large, privately held infrastructure and power development company with a national portfolio spanning solar, wind, natural gas, energy storage, and transmission is seeking a Tax Manager - Investor Services to own a critical and highly visible function within its tax organization.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced tax professional who enjoys building and owning complex processes, working cross-functionally with FP&A and Finance, and serving as the go-to resource for investor tax reporting and tax forecasting in a dynamic, deal-heavy environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own and continuously improve the tax forecasting process including taxable income calculations, cash tax projections, estimated payment projections, and tax distribution and allocation calculations
  • Partner with FP&A and Finance to align the tax forecast with business plans, budgets, and long‑range projections, maintaining actual and forecasted books by legal entity
  • Analyze forecast‑to‑actual variances and communicate key drivers to internal stakeholders
  • Support scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses based on contemplated business planning and transactions
  • Monitor tax law changes and analyze transaction impacts in partnership with the tax planning team
  • Prepare and review investor tax reporting deliverables including K‑1 equivalent information, investor tax packages, and supporting schedules
  • Serve as a key contact for tax‑related questions from investors and internal stakeholders
  • Present quarterly results to senior leadership
  • Own and maintain complex tax compliance calculations requiring quarterly updates including Section 163(j) limitations and transaction analysis
  • Create and own processes and work papers to retrieve data from system applications including Oracle and One Stream to support tax return preparation
What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive tax experience
  • Master's in Taxation or CPA a plus
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. and state tax principles
  • Partnership taxation experience preferred
  • Prior experience in energy, power, real estate, infrastructure, or manufacturing a plus
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data management skills
  • Proficiency in Oracle, One Stream, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
  • Self‑starter who thrives in ambiguity and a fast‑paced environment
Why This Role Stands Out:
  • Own a high‑visibility tax forecasting function at one of the largest privately held infrastructure companies in North America
  • Direct investor tax reporting exposure across a complex, multi‑entity portfolio
  • Heavy cross‑functional partnership with FP&A, Finance, and Tax Planning
  • Dynamic, deal‑heavy environment with exposure to complex transactions
