Position Overview

As a Credit Product Specialist (Healthcare) within PNC's Regional Credit Products Group, you will be based in Denver, CO;
Dallas or Houston, TX; or Chicago, IL. PNC is an in‑office company that encourages professional growth and work‑life balance.
- Serve as a market‑level credit product expert.
- Structure and advise clients on various types of credit and credit‑related transactions.
- Execute credit products, including ACH, FX, EF, and derivatives.
- Manage the diligence and approval process, and negotiate all legal documents and closing.
- Partner with the Relationship Banking team to identify and drive revenue through credit products.
- Directly manage a portfolio of borrowers, including ongoing client communication.
- Collaborate with RMs and other product partners (e.g., TM, FX, DCM) to assess credit needs and deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in client and prospect calls in conjunction with the RMs.
- Structure credit transactions within the bank’s credit‑risk appetite.
- Lead internal white‑boarding and diligence sessions to assess viable solutions.
- Drive the internal credit approval process, loan documentation, and closing.
- Independently manage a team of employees to handle all phases of the credit process.
- Play a key role in training, mentoring, and developing junior talent.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; a Master’s, Ph.D., or relevant certifications are desirable.
- Minimum eight (8) years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of credit analysis, underwriting, portfolio management, and risk appetite.
- Excellent client‑relationship management and communication skills.
- Proven ability to assess industry dynamics and recommend appropriate credit solutions.
- Experience negotiating legal documents and managing the credit approval process.
- Leadership experience in training and developing junior talent.
- Preferred skills: analytical thinking, data analytics, decision making, financial operations, portfolio risk, and effective communication.
