Responsibilities

  • Influence change by developing innovative approaches that help drive continuous audit improvement.
  • Take initiative and exercise critical thinking in delivering practical, value‐added recommendations to enhance the control environment.
  • Lead risk‐based audit projects from planning through reporting, serving as the primary point of contact for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project team interviews and walkthroughs to evaluate control design and identify unmitigated risk.
  • Lead execution of audit tests that validate the effectiveness of controls and oversee documentation.
  • Identify and communicate emerging risks, audit issues, and recommendations to client personnel.
  • Prepare audit reports summarizing scope, conclusions, findings, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with clients to evaluate and enhance departmental controls and processes.
  • Participate in change projects, identifying and communicating risks before implementation.
  • Supervise project team members and review working papers.
  • Develop and utilize data analytic tools to generate insights and inform the audit approach.
  • Ensure audits are completed within agreed‐upon timelines and in accordance with methodology.
  • Adapt to evolving business needs and work with focus and urgency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4+ years of banking or financial services audit experience.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Understanding of industry audit frameworks.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or working toward a relevant certification.
  • Experience in the secondary mortgage market is a plus.
  • Experience in financial markets is a plus.
  • Experience utilizing data analytics tools to generate audit insights over data populations.
  • Proficiency with Alteryx, Tableau, or Microsoft SQL strongly recommended.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $90,400.00 – $. The range reflects the expected compensation for this position; final pay may consider experience and other factors.
