Duties
- Review of monthly fund and business entity closing summaries.
- Report and analyze financial data to be disseminated to our clients and their investors.
- Close monthly books and records of the funds to general final performance figures.
- Interact with clients and other Hedge Fund Services teams to obtain understanding of funds
¿ activities. - Prepare financial statements for funds.
- Work directly with external auditors to ensure accuracy of each fund’s annual financial statements.
- Carry out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact.
- May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management.
- Able to serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employees.
- More technically sound in area of expertise and has broader knowledge of other areas.
- Delivers a work product that requires less revision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- In-depth functional / industry knowledge is required.
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change.
- Technical skills / systems knowledge is required.
A college or university degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred. Related industry qualification (e.g., ACCA) is preferred.
Salary and BenefitsSalary Range: $74,200 – $126,200 USD. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well‑being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
