Overview
Merrill Wealth Management, part of Bank of America, seeks a Financial Advisor to serve high‑net‑worth clients. The role focuses on building relationships, assessing financial goals, and recommending investment strategies that help clients achieve their objectives.
Responsibilities- Provide tailored and personalized advice through client reviews and presentations.
- Assess financial goals and recommend investment advisory strategies.
- Communicate solutions that meet client needs, including core banking and investment/place solutions.
- Partner with Financial Advisor teams to build networks by sharing market developments and discussing new products.
- Access the full array of bank resources to benefit clients or prospects.
- Develop and grow a book of business to meet pre‑defined financial targets.
- Prioritize client requests and make introductions to appropriate internal service providers based on needs and asset thresholds.
The MFSA role is part of an Elite Growth Practice. Through structured training, mentorship, and the Academy, advisers gain the skills to manage their own practice and progress to the next stage of independent advising.
Required Qualifications- Current Series7 and
66 licenses (Series
63 or65 can replace Series
66). - Two years’ experience in the financial services industry or a sales environment with measurable goal achievement.
- Minimum one year of experience in the investments industry, including investment training and deep knowledge of investment products.
- Self‑starter who manages time, sets and meets goals, and builds strong relationships.
- Effective communicator comfortable engaging all clients.
- Ability to navigate complexity, prioritize, and execute in a fast‑paced environment.
- Regulatory due‑diligence mindset incorporated into daily activities.
- Proven lead‑generation and client‑acquisition skills.
- Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development.
- Strong computer skills and multitasking ability.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or related field.
- Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.

Pay & IncentivesBase salary: $75,000–$85,000 annualized, with potential adjustments based on experience and performance.
Eligible for monthly, quarterly and/or annual formulaic incentive plans tied to defined metrics.
