Vice President, Valuation will lead and support the monthly and quarterly valuation process for Adams Street's private market portfolio including fund investments, equity instruments, and debt instruments. This is a senior individual contributor and team leadership role based in Chicago.

Core responsibilities include leading the valuation process for private market investments; developing and reviewing valuation models including DCF, comparable company and transaction analysis, and option pricing models; assessing and documenting key valuation assumptions; preparing valuation memos and materials for internal committees, auditors, and external stakeholders; partnering with investment teams on portfolio company performance; managing relationships with external auditors and third-party valuation firms;

monitoring regulatory developments impacting valuation practices; and enhancing valuation policies and governance frameworks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA and/or CFA preferred; 5-10 years of relevant experience at a Big 4 firm, valuation advisory firm, or similar organization; deep expertise in private market asset valuation across PE, VC, and private credit; proven track record owning end-to-end valuation processes.

This role is based in Chicago, IL with hybrid flexibility.
