What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:- Serve as the primary expert resource for deceased estate matters across the organization.
- Review and validate estate documentation including death certificates, letters of testamentary, probate documents, and executor authorizations.
- Coordinate the transfer or liquidation of securities, options, futures, and other financial instruments held in deceased accounts.
- Ensure proper handling of outstanding trades, margin positions, and corporate actions for deceased accounts.
- Liaise with legal counsel and compliance teams on complex or high-value estate matters.
- Law degree, paralegal certification, other relevant qualification or significant demonstratable relevant experience.
- Experience with international estates and cross-border asset transfers.
- Knowledge of estate planning strategies and trust structures.
- Experience working in a global financial institution.
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Above all you are an active hands on person able to deliver quality and volume.
