Overview
My client, a boutique private‑equity firm, is looking for a Senior Fund Finance Associate to join their expanding team. The role will be based on a hybrid schedule in downtown Chicago. Competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits are offered.
Responsibilities- Conduct due diligence on fund managers and support investment recommendations
- Analyze audited financial statements and operational processes
- Prepare research reports, Investment Committee memos, and meeting documentation
- Review legal and regulatory documents (e.g., offering memorandums, Form ADVs)
- Evaluate back‑office operations, controls, and pricing procedures
- Track and organize data to support team efficiency
- Assist with manager meetings, onsite visits, and follow‑up reporting
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
- 2‑5 years of experience in public accounting (fund audit) or financial services
- Exposure to alternative investments (hedge funds, private equity, financial services) preferred
- CPA or CFA (or pursuing) is a plus
