Associate Director, Client Finance

Job Title

Digitas is seeking a professional for a key role within their finance team. This position involves a range of responsibilities that require a strong background in finance and accounting.

The responsibilities include:

• Partnering with relationship managers to influence positive financial management
• Supervising forecast submissions and monitoring the monthly close process
• Managing cash flow projections, account billing, and receivables
• Mitigating financial risks and providing insight on financial implications of change
• Leading in the development of career paths for staff
• Managing client and regional finance team meetings on financial metrics
• Appropriately representing and encouraging growth within the department
• Resolving issues with areas of potential negative financial exposure
• Providing thorough recommendations to solve business issues
• Reviewing and analyzing key financial metrics including profitability drivers
• Explaining and translating financial reports to team members
• Exhibiting judgment on when to evaluate issues and when to resolve independently
• Prioritizing and streamlining tasks to ensure accuracy

The qualifications include:

• A four-year degree in Finance or Accounting, with a Master's degree preferred
• 7-9 years of professional finance or accounting experience, including familiarity with the digital environment
• Supervisory experience with the ability to create overall efficiency that benefits the department and clients
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Advanced knowledge of financial reporting systems (Lawson, Business Objects, Crystal)
• Solid understanding of accounting concepts (debits/credits, revenue recognition, DSO calculation, cash vs. accrual based accounting)
• Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Candidate must be open to travel as needed
• Familiarity with prompt-based interaction and commonly used generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Gemini, DALLE, Midjourney) is a plus, especially for tasks like ideation, research, or content generation.

Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
