Job Description

As a Financial Advisor Transition Consultant, you will partner with our recruiting teams and field leadership to provide a delightful and seamless experience to Advisors, their business, and clients’ onboarding to RBC Wealth Management.
This role will require regular travel 75% of the time. We are open to candidates in any of our major metropolitan locations.
- Partner with branch, complex and divisional management teams to coordinate and execute a best-in‑class onboarding experience
- Assist field leadership throughout the new recruit hiring process— includes new hire requirements and book of business vetting
- Assist in the onboarding of new FAs, support staff and clients
- Assist with integration of the new AOS platform into the onboarding process to accelerate account opening and the transition of client assets to RBC USWM
- Enhance the client experience by including other US Wealth Management key initiatives into the onboarding process
- Develop, update and maintain resources used internally within the team and with the field—such as procedures, templates, checklists and other resources
Must-have
- Bachelor’s degree or job‑related experience
- Minimum of 1‑3 years’ experience at a wealth management firm
- Proven dedication to and focus on client service
- Strong communication skills
- Strong ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership
Nice‑to‑have
- Demonstrated experience supporting financial advisors and client associates at a wealth management firm
- Demonstrated experience working with different functional groups at a wealth management firm
- Series 7 and 66 (or ability to attain)

The expected salary range for this particular position is $70,000–$120,000 (Chicago), $55,000–$95,000 (Denver, Minneapolis), depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
