Fund Accountant

The Fund Accountant will support the accounting and reporting processes for a portfolio of investment funds.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger and fund-level accounts
• Calculate NAVs, investor allocations, and capital activity (subscriptions, redemptions, distributions)
• Assist with quarterly closes and year-end reporting processes
• Support audit requests and coordinate with external auditors
• Prepare investor reporting and assist with regulatory filings as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
• Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, FP&A, and compliance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 2+ years of accounting experience (fund accounting, public accounting, or financial services experience preferred)
• Knowledge of investment vehicles (private equity, hedge funds, real estate funds, etc.) is a plus
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
