Job Description
This position will be a strong Finance partner for a portfolio of brands, responsible for providing analysis and recommendations to support business decisions and strategy building. The role involves completing and presenting complex analysis, interpreting financial data, and translating analytics and insights into actionable steps. It requires a strong cross‑functional partnership focus and support for various business unit contacts as well as the finance department.
- Lead monthly forecast updates based on business changes and prepare comprehensive financial analysis for leadership and business partners, including variance explanations.
- Translate financial analysis into meaningful insights across P&L accounts, quantifying risks and opportunities aligned with objectives.
- Proactively identify and communicate financial issues in a timely manner.
- Lead month‑end close and ensure accuracy of journal entries, managing marketing spend in line with brand strategy and budget.
- Participate in the annual budget process and longer‑term strategic planning, modeling scenarios and outcomes.
- Partner with internal finance teams and engage in finance‑wide projects as needed.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a high‑performance culture.
- Model teamwork and partnership in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
- Minimum 5–7 years of related experience in FP&A, brand finance, or commercial strategy.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, analytical concepts, and financial operating systems.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Tableau, Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or similar systems is a plus.
- Strong communication and storytelling ability with data.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver under tight timelines, and build strong relationships with business partners, including senior leadership.
The base pay range for this position is $94,000 to $131,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
