Daniels Health is seeking an experienced and driven Billing Manager to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for leading the billing function, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a high level of service to both internal stakeholders and customers. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is committed to accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Whatyou will do
- Lead, coach, and support a team of billing professionals to ensure high performance and accountability
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex billing inquiries
- Resolve customer issues in a timely, professional, and customer‑focused manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including those with ongoing billing inquiries
- Oversee the end‑to‑end billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoice generation and distribution
- Review billing outputs to identify discrepancies or potential issues
- Proactively resolve billing concerns to minimize downstream impact
- Support broader month‑end close activities in collaboration with the Finance team
- 5 years of billing experience; 1–2 years of management experience
- Degree in Finance or Accounting or in a related field
- Critical thinking and sound decision‑making skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Leadership skills & management experience
- Excel skills: creating and reading reports, basic formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, countifs, etc
- Word and PowerPoint knowledge
- Salesforce experience would be nice but not required
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
